The wait is nearly over, and soon we’ll all be privy to this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and BI Platforms. Qlik is proud of its 15-year history and ranking as a Leader for the last decade in this signature research, and, as soon as it's available, we'll share a complimentary copy of the full report here: Gartner BI Magic Quadrant 2021.
Since 2006, Qlik’s enviable positions in the MQ has demonstrated our steadfast commitment to helping customers accelerate business value through data. 2020 taught us many lessons in business, including the value of real-time data for decisions, the accelerated migration to the cloud, and the move by many organizations to improve their data pipelines to move from passive to active consumption of and use of data across their organizations. Qlik drove its technology and innovation in a number of areas, from cloud to intelligent alerting to augmented analytics, along with acquisitions, such as Knarr and Blendr.io, to deliver new levels of insights for businesses to survive and thrive in an unpredictable world.
Given the year we’ve all just endured, this pending research underscores a higher level of performance expectations for all vendors, as the “new normal” has pushed the speed of innovation even further. This innovation involves delivering broader collaboration with personalized insights and a widening of users’ peripheral vision for greater awareness, which, in turn, leads to better decisions. This is the next era in BI we call Active Intelligence.
